Important Lessons Learned This Weekend: (A Public Service Announcement)
Lesson #1: If you play The Sims 2 for 99 hours at a time, your eyes will break, and it will hurt.
Lesson #2: If you are cleaning your closet, try not to let a huge plastic storage bin full of jeans fall on your forehead, because that will hurt, and leave an attractive red bump.
Thank you.
Not much has been going on here at Casa Crystal in the past week or so. I've mostly been enjoying getting to be a hermit, and doing nerdy things like watching dvd's, spending lots of time online, and playing the Sims 2. I'm funny with the Sims- I'll play obsessively for a while, then get bored and not play for a few months, and then obsess again. The funniest thing that's been happening is that when I play my Crystal & James Marsters house, Buffy has been randomly running into the house, shoving me and yelling at me, and then running out. I'm starting to take it personally.
My sister and nephew came over last night, and my nephew ended up going grocery shopping with me. When we came across the Ben & Jerry's, we decided that an Ice Cream Extravaganza was in order, so we each got a pint (Cherry Garcia for him, Chunky Monkey for me), as well as butterscotch topping (They were OUT of the magical Milky Way Topping, which I can eat straight out of the jar until I fall into a sugar coma), chocolate candy to crumble up and put on top, marachino cherries, and chocolate shell. Then we sat around eating while I taught Jesse how to play Sims 2.
Everything you need for your own Ice Cream Extravaganza. The toothbrush is in the photo by ironic coincidince.

Nephew with his entire pint of Cherry Garcia in the bowl, except for the bit that's on his face.

I stayed up till 6am last night, watching X-Men 2, and hoping that my Geography class would open up early, but since it still wasn't open at 6, I went to bed. It *was* open when I got up at 1, so I spent the afternoon printing out the zillion pages of study guide notes, and then going to Branson to pick up my last check and a few extra school supplies.
One of the assignments for my Geog. class is to plan a trip to another country, making a timeline of what you would see and do. Could there possibly be an assignment more perfect for me? It's not due till April, but I already have a list of places I'm considering, and knowing me, I'll probably end up doing four or five of them, and then just turning in the one that comes out the best. Shut up, you knew I was a nerd coming into this.
Now I'm off to continue my Spring Cleaning, because I'm living in sloth again (and actually because I can't find my 3-hole punch).
I shall conclude here with kitten pictures, because that always seems to work well. Lily has been freakishly cute the past couple of days, snuggling up to various things in the house:
I came into my living room earlier today to find her loving on Eeyore.
I thought Kiki would enjoy this one of her and Ice Bat.
