January 31, 2005

I am so freaking estatic that January is over!  Winter months are the bane of my existance, and the quicker we can get them out of the way, the better!  Now there are only two months standing in the way of April!  (I probably wouldn't hate winter quite so much if my half of the house had heat, but that's still not certain)

Have you guys been watching American Idol this season?  I've watched em all from the beginning, but the auditions seem extra painful this year.  It seems like they're showing 80% "so awful I have to hide" people, 10% okayish people, and 10% good ones.  Because of the suckyess, we decided to just skip the rest of the first phase of auditions, and come back when they get to the next round.  That, of course, went like this:

"That was awful!  I'm not even going to watch tomorrow night."  "Me either!"

Wednesday Night: 6:55pm-

Mom: Are you going to watch Idol tonight?

Me: Nah.

Wednesday Night: 7pm:

Downstairs TV: *annoying American Idol theme music*

I'm convinced they have some kind of subliminal messaging.

Thursday was my last day of work, and I've been sitting around like a blob ever since.  I think I needed a few days of sloth, but I'm hoping to actually start moving now.  I have been going through my massive collection of old magazines, though, clipping out the few articles worth saving, and putting the rest in a big box to get rid of.  I didn't realize what an insane number of magazines I had until I started cleaning out my closet.  I keep them around to use for collage materials, but they've taken over!  I have pretty much every single issue of Cosmo, Glamour, Marie Claire, etc. since 2000 or so, and every issue of Lucky since whenever it came out, a bunch of Budget Travel, Islands, and Conde Naste Traveler, Horse Illustrated, Horse and Rider, Entertainment Weekly, etc etc etc!  I must be stopped!

Can someone a little smarter than me please explain why IE has recently started making me log in to all of my regular websites, instead of how it always used to autolog me in?  I have to log into message boards and ebay and such every single time!  It's annoying!  I'm lazy!  Help!

I have like sixty million things to do tomorrow.  The library in Springfield has a book on hold for me that I need to pick up, I need to see if I can exchange my geography textbook, since they gave me the 11th ed instead of 10th, need to pick up my check, deposit it, and pay my car payment, blah blah blah.  My original plan was actually to go to Springfield today, but then I realized that I have to go tomorrow for dance anyway, so I might as well just run all of my errands then.  How exciting not to have to rush home from dance to get ready for work!  Plus, due to my new lack of work, we can have dance class from 1-3 instead of 10-12!  HOORAY for sleeping in!

In other news: the new Pizza Hut garlic sauce SUCKS!  I'm going to have to start making my own again.
