Let's start out with a few of the scary things we discovered when we were getting started on the house clean-up, shall we?
This is the wall in my kitchen. It has some issues. It will be going away, very soon.
This is the sink in my kitchen. I think it speaks for itself. It too, will be gone very soon.
Apparently, a bunch of wasps thought that our house was as cool as we do. They've been evicted.
While I can tell they used to be pretty shades of blue, the tiles in my shower are now *disgusting*.
I pulled on the ugly beige plastic shower wall stuff, and voila! There were white tiles behind it!
Nice white tiles! Too bad they have ugly glue stuff all over them!
This is what mom's living room looked like with the old carpet.
And here it is again with it's lovely new blue carpet!
Her bathroom, on the other hand, isn't looking so good.
This is the ugly countertop in mom's kitchen. I made her promise to replace it the first time we saw the house.
My kitchen is looking kind of scary right now, too. That extra door leads to an alternate universe.

I came downstairs today to find that my carpet pad has arrived! Those big rolls make great chairs.

Good thing that's getting covered up, it certainly looks ugly with the walls!
